To keep a record of communications in our studio (for project tracking).

We may share your data with third parties who help us run the website (for example, our email-hosting provider). These parties are not allowed to use your data for their own marketing.

Data Retention

We keep your contact form submissions for as long as necessary to handle your request or commission.

After that, we may archive or delete the data, unless legal or business needs require otherwise.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure — we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

If you’re in certain locations (for example, the EU), you have rights under data‑protection law. You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.

You can also withdraw your consent for us to store or use your data, to the extent that this is feasible.

Cookies & Tracking

We may use basic analytics tools to see how visitors use the site.

We don’t use “track you around the internet” advertising cookies, unless you explicitly sign up for something that requires that.

Our site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Custom Work & Studio Policies

Lead Times

Our quoted lead times are estimates; we try our best to account for all factors, but we can’t predict everything. Lead times begin upon receipt of deposit and confirmation of final order details.
Please note: Shipping and transit times are not included in production lead time estimates.

Handmade Nature of Our Work

Each piece from Casey Zablocki Ceramics is individually handmade by Casey using natural materials and his unique process. Slight variations in size, glaze, color, texture, and form are inherent and celebrated as part of the work’s one-of-a-kind nature. These variations are not considered defects.

We do not accept returns based on natural variation in materials or craftsmanship. If you are not happy with your purchase for other reasons, please reach out — we’ll work with you to find the best solution.

Shipping & Delivery

Please inspect all shipments upon arrival. If an item arrives damaged, notify us at zablocki.ceramics@gmail.com within 48 hours with photos of the item and packaging.

Failure to report damages within this timeframe will be considered acceptance of the item “as-is.” Zablocki Ceramics is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Warranty

All pieces are crafted with care and guaranteed for 12 months against manufacturing defects only. This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to misuse, mishandling, or installation-related breakage

  • Natural wear and tear (chipping, staining)

  • Damage from harsh cleaning agents or improper care

  • Exposure to weather or non-residential environments

  • Custom modifications made after delivery

Any modifications void the warranty.

Storage Fees

If you cannot receive your order when it is ready, we can hold it for up to 10 days at no charge. After this, a storage fee of $10 per item per day will apply. Orders not released within 30 days will be transferred to offsite storage; additional storage and redelivery fees will apply.

Return Policy

Due to the handmade and custom nature of our work, all sales are final. Please review your order carefully before confirming, including measurements, specifications, and understanding of finishes.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for taxes, duties, and tariffs in their destination country.

Tax

Sales tax is collected for orders shipped to applicable states. Tax exemptions require valid documentation.
